Why You Just Can't Have It All

Sep 09

I'm a kind of person who easily falls for some ideas, plans, etc. Sometimes this trait of character is useful, but when it comes to wedding planning, effects might be disastrous. I often buy clothes I love at first sight and then, three months later I just hate them. So, back to the wedding. My first thought was to have the party somewhere in the country - I thought "Oooo, that's me, I belong in the country".

But then I saw someone's pictures of a beach wedding and I instantly fell in love for the beach. Of course, this lasted until someone said to me: "Girl, are you sure? When have you seen any sun lately?". So, skip the beach, and the next idea is lighthouses - marvellous idea!! Obviously we ended up with a quite traditional wedding. Talking to my friend recently, we reached a conclusion that you just can't have everything: no 10 different locations, 10 photographs, 10 wedding dresses. If you go for a beach wedding, take weather into consideration, if you have a lighthouse wedding, the boat will probably be to small for all guests, etc.
